Is Dr. Quiano really dead?

Ulysses is at it again, but this time its a doozy. Usually, where theres a rumor, theres a bit of truth. I had a strange visit with a good friend a week ago. I've sit on our conversation for days. Could this be true or one more horrible piece of gossip? Its driving me up the wall wondering who or why this story is circulating in Ulysses. Should I put it on our topics? Why not. All that can happen is I get blasted for posting news that prob. half of Ulysses has heard by now. This isn't the strangest fabrication thats happened in Ulysses. My honest friend shared that it's also being investigated by the authorities. The information is that Dr. Quiano's body or ashes or whatever has not been returned to the United States after all this time. It's been said that without the body being brought back, that his estate can't be settled. So what is going on. Word has it that maybe he doesn't want to return to Ulysses, that he wants to disappear, but why? Does he have a huge insurance policy? Does his wife have a huge insurance policy on him also. After the dust settles, will they share the policies, or will he share his by himself. Is he running from something? Does he want to disappear in the Philippines? I don't know how to address this news. I know hes a kind, well thought of, doctor. Yes, he's had problems in his past with women, but who hasn't had a problem of some kind in their lives. Unless we are all perfect, I feel that we all need to pray for him and his safety, if need be. What is your opinion? Have you heard this strange story? I feel I shouldn't share this, but I also feel I should share what kind of crud that someone in Ulysses is spreading about a decent doctor thats served this small town. Joy

  1. What did they say he died from when they say he died? Did he go home and die there? I don't know anything about it ,but just wondering why they would want them to bring his body back. Cause i am sure that they don't imbom (sure that not spelled right)them so, how can they bring the body back? How can anyone prove that those are the Dr.
's ashes? That is weired I have never heard of anything like that.

  2. He went home to attend a funeral in his family and ended up having a heart attack himself. This is very weird but my friend said they can't settle the estate until his body, remains, whatever returns to the U.S. joy

  3. wow, that is crazy.... maybe they don't believe he died, because it happened over there.I still don't get how they expect to get the body or the ashes, the body can't be brought back to the U.S and the ashes they can't do D.N.A on. You are so right that don't make sence and that is crazy.

Now, the bad part is that if he is not dead then he can't come back to the U.S without getting fraud charges put on him.

  4. It's hard to believe that someone would fake there own death. If that truely is the case then there must have been some reason he wanted to stay out of this country. I did hear a "rumor" that he was being sued for malpractice. I don't think that would be worth going through all of that though. I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he really did die in the phillipines.

  5. I guess it just seem kinda weired they would want the body brought back or the remains to settle the estate. I don't even know how that is posible.

Brainy I agree with you that faking your death over a malpractice claim kinda crazy. You would think thought if you were going to fake your death and have a big estate you would put it in the name of a person you trusted so you don't have to go through this or even wire they money to yourself where ever you are. I think it would be to much trouble to fake a death over a law suite like that, but some people do crazy things.
I am more to say he did die cause the other parts don't make since.

  6. As I've said in the past, go to the KS BD of Healing Arts and bring up his history. He could be running from, yet, another woman chging him again. As usual, Guerita knows it all. Right or wrong, truth or lies. She knows it all. I know many patients that really like him, so if he's up to something, he probably has a reason to do it. I was just asking if anyone else heard this. If not, lets all drop it.

  7. Joy, what is your problem? I didn't say I knew nothing about it. I was just saying that it doesn't make since. I wasn't agree that you were right or wrong. I don't know if he is up to something or not. I was say that if it was me that what I would have done. So, could you tell me what your problem is?

  8. Guerita, Can you ever forgive me for acting so terrible to you? Whatever made me act this way to you is beyond me. Must be having a brain malfunction or worse. I've always tried to live with love and kindness to others through out my life, but I bombed big time to you. I'm embarassed and ashamed for treating you this way. If I could undo this post about Dr. Quiano, I would. Yes, it was a rumor, but a rumor with substantial support. He was in the Philipenes at a family members funeral and while there, he had a fatal heart attack. This had to be a terrible shock to all that loved and respected him as a doctor. And to his bloopers in his life, who of us haven't messed up time and time again. But to you, Guerita, please forgive me for my harsh words to you that had to hurt. I'm sorry. Joy

  9. Joy, it's all good. I just didn't know why you were tripping.

Red Man there is no need for the name calling. You need to tell me what your problem is with me?

  10. Thank you Guerita. I didn't deserve you even trying to understand why I was "Triping". Does trippin mean that the only time I open my mouth is to change feet? Thanks for letting me off the hook this time. Joy

  11. lol, tripping is a slang word for getting mad or acting crazy just depends on how you use it and why the person is acting like they are. I guess it is a word you can use in many different ways. It's nothing offensive.

  12. how is saying someone is tripping not offensive?

  13. Lol are you serious? Wow tell me who that is offensive?

  14. Does tripping mean high on drugs? If so, I'm certainly not a triping on nothing. I can't stand beer or liquor and scared spitless of any kind of drugs, my hubby says I'm an airhead so I don't have a screwed up brain. Now I'm going to panic until I find the true meaning of tripping. Thanks Guerita, I know you didn't mean it a bad way. Joy

  15. Maybe he knew the evidence in some case was overwhelming. (I'm just guessing.) And, he wanted to leave his family w the life insurance money, and their possessions, as opposed to losing it all in a law suit. That wouldn't be a first! I like "City Confidential" and "Cold Case". LOL It will be interesting to see if who ever inherits, takes off in a little while to where ever he did/did not pass away. I don't wish to be degrading. If he is passed away, I offer my condolences. Just answering Brainy as to why would someone do that.
