two rumors I heard this weekend.........does anyone know if they are true

#1 is Larry's Oil - I was told there was a story on KSN about Larry's Oil being investigated for something about Gas prices or overcharging on gas or something..... ? Does anyone know if there is something going on with them or is it just another rumor.

#2 Main Stop
I was also told that the IRS is looking for Dennis from the Main Stop that he is in trouble with the them and that is why the Main Stop is not open. I find it hard to believe that his is on the run as the Main Stop would be locked up by the IRS if that was the case, I think anyhow
u.p.

  1. #1 is true I heard the story on the news, The Kansas Attorney General shut them down pending investigation due to irregular accounting practices, stemming from farmer complaints of being over charged. I don't know about #2

  2. I have searched the internet to try to find the story about Larrys Oil, as I had an account with them and shut it down because I felt I was being overcharged. I guess I need to get those stmts out.

A Ulysses oil company has been shut down by Kansas Attorney General Steve Six for allegedly using deceptive business practices.

A temporary restraining order restricts Dimitt Oil, also known as Larry's Oil, from delivering petroleum products to Kansas consumers, the attorney general's office announced Wednesday.

Larry's Oil specializes in petroleum delivery to farmers in southwest Kansas since 2001.

The attorney general's office said an investigation discovered a pattern of overbilling and irregular accounting practices.

Officials suspect that Larry's Oil has billed farmers for thousands of gallons of petroleum products that were never delivered.

Six's office said Kansans who have purchased products from Larry's Oil and suspect they may have been overbilled should contact the Consumer Protection Division by calling 800-432-2310 or at www.ksag.org.

  4. Is this the Spencer Dimmit that did or does live in Stanton County? If so, he was big in the posse comatatus back in the late 70's.This was a militant group of farmers that didn't believe in government, taxes, license plates, etc. Bad group of guys. But there are a lot of Dimmits.

  6. This group was against license tags, drivers licenses, taking the money they earned and putting it in a bank in Denver and no income tax, etc. etc. If you are a citizen of the United States you have to pay your part. Right. They also were violent people burning down wheat fields of farmers of people that didn't want a part of this crazy group. Plus they turned their money into gold and silver and hid it plus they bought tons of shotguns, grenades, machine guns, gas masks, etc. One good part is they found out about the illuminati, the one world government, etc. Go on the internet and look it up. joy

  12. Red Man, just type in the word posse comatatus on the internet and you will find all you want to know. Even the possee member that shot the farmer in S.D. and was on the run to AK and he stayed undercover in Ulysses. The sheriffs dept. watched this guy so they could find the group he was running to in AK. All I know is it is Scarry.

  16. Red Man, I've got the article about the possee and esp. about the possee man that shot 2 Federal Marshalls in N.D. and went on the run through Ulysses to AK. It tells hystory of the group, how they hated blacks, Jews, etc. Try typing in "Identity Church Movement: Posse Comitatus." Then hit "Poisoning the Web" or any of the articles on this page. Its true. Most of the Stanton County farmers moved to MO. Hope this helps you.joy

It would be polite to at least say thanks so I know you did get the site. I did read a lot of the articles so I could give you the best ones. I guess you were pretending to be interested with your wee brain. Never again, Joy turning sad
